Headless Horseman(s)

 This is a post about 3" toys and Washington Irving characters, but not so much about Tim Burton films or Disney cartoons.

Some years ago, I happened across this Imaginext character from Mystery Figures Series 7. 

 
Sucker that I am for things that Glow in the Dark, it was a must-have item. 
Last year, Playmobil scored a sweet license along with their Back to the Future deal, and Scooby-Doo licensed toys were produced, including this one from the 1976 episode "The Headless Horseman Of Halloween."

                                            Finally, here's the Jazwares Roblox one from a few years back.

Advent Calendars

 I have always loved countdown calendars. How many days until Halloween? How bout Christmas? A little chocolate each day was a treat, but there are much nicer things available now.   This arrived last year. Unfortunately, somebody was missing AN ENTIRE LEG. Funko would not supply the missing part, and basically told me to GFMS. I contacted the vendor, and they sent me six doll hairs in compensation. Here's the Gremlins one from last year. It's scaled perfectly for 3" figures. A number of Playmobil Advent Calendars here  And the Jazwares Roblox one that arrived yesterday. As is now sadly a common Quality Assurance issue, one figure had a second right arm in place of the left arm.   The first Dominus Dudes pack I bought had Dude #2 with two right arms and no left also, so I exchanged it at the store. I had a HECK of a time with Bacon Hair Branding Emergency. I found it at Target, but when I got it home, dude had TWO left arms and TWO right feets! I marched it back, b...

  The Fisher-Price Adventure People were made from around 1975-1985. I never owned any, but find it interesting that FP has decided to pay homage to this iconic line with some of their Imaginext figures.
